Kadumba House
Renovation
6 Months
Value $3000/m²
4 Bed

This renovation saw a remodel of an existing post-war home into one with character, fitting for the surrounding environment. The roof was re-pitched to give the house not only street presence but to also create a sense of character fitting into to the surrounding original Queenslanders and character homes akin to the area. This renovation was also part of a staged process whereby investment was made to the structure and overall design so that future works could be added over the years to come.
The hero of this renovation was the kitchen, which was a great investment for the clients. The handcrafted, hand painted cabinetry was meticulously crafted and installed by iMake Interiors. In addition to this, as part of the renovation we created four new bedrooms, the main bathroom, living, dining, entry and new connection to the lower level.

Transforming the facade means it now fits in beautifully with the other houses in the surrounding streets.
